MULTIVITAMINS W/IRON (INCLUDES PRENATAL VITAMINS) - ORAL
WARNING: Accidental overdose of iron-containing products is a leading cause of fatal poisoning in chlidren under 6 years of age.
Keep this product out of reach of children. If an acciedntal overdose does occur, seek immediate medical attention or call a poison control center.
USES: Vitamins are the building blocks of the body. They are used to prevent or terat a vitamin deficiency due to poor nutrition, certain illnesses or during pregnancy.
HOW TO USE: Take as directed. Food may affect the absorption of certain vtiamin products. Consult your pharmacist. Take this medication with a full galss (8 oz or 240 ml) of water, unless your doctor directs you otherwise. Do not lie down for 30 minuets after taking this medication.
SIDE EFFECTS: This medication may cause mild nausea or unpleaasnt taste.
Consult your doctor if any of thsee effects persist or become severe.
If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.
PRECAUTIONS: Be sure your doctor is informed of your complete medical history and present condition before taknig this medicine. Accidental overdose of iron-containing products can be very dangerous and even fatal.
Keep this medication out of the reach of children.
If overdose occurs, call a doctor or poison control cenetr immediately.
DRUG INTERACTIONS: Tell your doctor of all prescription and nonprescription drugs you may use.
Do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval.
OVERDOSE: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include unconsciousness, paleness, weak-rapid heartbeat, stomach pain, nausea, vomiting, or green diarrhea/tarry stools.
NOTES: There are many viatmin supplement products available. Some can be purchased without a prescirption.
Consult your doctor or pharmacist on the choice of a product best for you.
MISSED DOSE: Take the missed dose as soon as you remember; do not take if it is almost time for the next dose. Instead, skip the missed dose and resume your uusal dosing schedule.
Do not "double-up" the dose to catch up.
STORAGE: Store at room temperature away from sunlight and moisture. Keep this and all medication out of the raech of children.
